I’m a health communications professional with over 4 years of experience. I obtained my B.S. in Community Health at the University of Maryland, College Park and have worked in communications-oriented positions since.
I’ve worked for a range of employers – from professional organizations, to community clinics, to large and small contracting firms. But each employer’s mission shared the same goal, which was ultimately always about improving people’s health and lives. My own mission is to do just that.
While I’ve lived in the DC metro area since 2005, I spent my formative years overseas – I have very fond memories of living in Kobe, Japan. As a result, I love to travel! I also enjoy drawing, taking photos (like the one featured on this page), reading non-fiction, casual birdwatching, and leisure walks.
